Primary Healthcare is one of the key directions of the HKSAR Government, and the HKAPI is of the view that District Health Centre (DHC) and Community pharmacies have pivotal roles in delivering a holistic healthcare model for patients.

To help HKAPI members understand more about the operation of DHC and opportunities for the pharmaceutical industry, the Public-Private Partnership task force organized a Sharing Session on April 27, 2022. We are grateful for the support from The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation, The Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society, Kowloon and A-Lively Community Pharmacy as guest speakers to provide a deep dive into their experience. We also had a fruitful discussion with speakers about their plans and insights about the direction of primary healthcare services.

Last but not least, we would like to thank our members for their active participation during the sharing session. We look forward to the potential collaborations with DHC, DHC Express and Community pharmacies.
