SUMMARY:PMA Taskforce: Briefing Session for Horizon Scanning Pilot Project with HKU
DESCRIPTION:The Partnering in Medical Advancement (PMA) task force is working on a Horizon Scanning pilot project with the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy\, University of Hong Kong. The project aims to build an effective prototype for Horizon Scanning assessment tailor-made for Hong Kong\, to help policy makers and payers to have a more forward looking planning and evidence-based resource allocation. All full members are invited to join this project on a voluntary basis. \nPMA taskforce organizes a briefing session on the HS Project. Mr Lawrence Wong and Mr Decker Cheung\, sponsor and lead of the Taskforce will introduce the proposal to HKAPI members\, while Prof. Ian Wong\, Head of Department of Pharmacology & Pharmacy\, HKU\, will address the technical details.
